There are so many models. How to choose the right one?

Indeed, AtomStack offers many different models covering various needs. The main differences among these models are the laser module capabilities. There are two main factors, one is laser output volt number, the other is the laser light spot size. The higher volt number is, the more capable the laser, engraving and cutting can be more efficient. Meanwhile, the smaller the laser light spot is, the higher the laser power density can be, the engraving mark and cutting line can be finer and more accurate.

For example, AtomStack A5 M40, compared to A5 pro, A5 M30, equipped with the laser module outputting highest laser power with smallest light spot, is the most powerful model. While others might not be able to engrave efficiently on metal or take longer time, it is relatively efficient. However, users who don’t need to engrave hard wood, acrylic or metal, and don’t mind spending more time can choose other models such as A5 M30.

Why are there A5 series and A5 M series laser engravers?

AtomStack continually improves product lines. The A5 M series is simply an upgraded version of the A5 series, besides the more powerful laser module it is equipped, we also add more features our old users asked for. For example, we improved the eyes protection glass filter, added a power switch to the controller, and most noticeable, we changed the way of adjusting the laser module height, making it much more convenient.

Is there a manual for beginners?

Yes, of course. We pack an installation manual in the product package. You will find a QR code for you to scan using your mobile phone on it that will be directed to a page to download a digital version user manual. A digital version offers a better viewing experience and we can improve it continuously. Or, on this page, you can find a section called “Product guides and documents”. You can download the manual there, too.

Is there any software that comes with the product?

AtomStack does not (for now) create its own software to work with its laser engraver products. However, users can download our recommended software. They are LaserGRBL and LightBurn. They are popular software used by many users, and not hard to get used to.
